DEMOCRATIC GRIDLOCK

    Why not form a small 6/8 member committee of an equal amount of conservative and liberal Democrats challenged with the proposition to seriously debate their major differences; report to a larger caucus of their group for agreement of each item they agree on until a firm understanding of each item is at hand and all the Democrats can vote as a block?
