Michael Ignatieff has written a wonderful article about the winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia starting next week. I highly recommend it. It appeared in the New York Times on Sunday February 7th. and I would assume you can read it on line.

Born 1924 I am lucky,intelligent, take care of my health, am a thinking person, who at times can be temperamental. Have had good mentors,consider myself independent politically,am the luckiest man alive to have such a wonderful family; am an agnostic but firmly believe in everyone's right to a personal religious belief. I have no complaints about my life and look forward to the future with interest. I am a very optimistic person about the future of the world and our ability to get along with each other. (My nickname "Clip" came from childhood when I won over a $1.00 pitching pennies in the school yard during one recess thus "clipping" them of their lunch money.
