INTERESTING FOLKS

David Brooks was on Charlie Rose on Tuesday February 8th.  He talked about the power of the unconscous mind and how important it is and how little we know about it.  I liked the interview.  My thought is: Who knows? Maybe the mysteries that psychoanalysts work so hard to help people solve will eventually be solved with the understanding of the brain making it much easier for the analyst to help you understand your unconscous mind.   If you are interested maybe you can get a copy of the interview  from the Public Broadcasting Station.

I heard Amy Walters, the editor and chief of the Hotline, the other evening for the first time and was most impressed with her straight forward and articulate discussion of the issues.  No Um's and Ah's and a non committed discussion.  I will watch for her.
