A COMMON BLIP TO THE FUTURE

Many times in the past world progress has been slowed because the advances in all sciences, including social, economic and psychological, have progressed faster than the average person has been able to absorb it.
This may be true today for it seems possible that President Obama's view of our capabilities to absorb all this change, especially when the electorate, and most of the people from many countries, have been so supportive of his mandates, including yours truly, has been overly optimistic.
So, we may have to take a step backwards before taking more steps forward.  
It is sad that many people who should understand people would rather take advantage of it in order to stall progress for their own selfish reasons.  Let's hope everyone understands this so we can quickly get back to furthering the world's future destiny.
